2025

Year in review

Our Momentum. Our Markets. Our Mission.

“Our vision has always been bigger than borders...”

Across the industry, there’s no doubt that 2025 was the year of stablecoins. For Yellow Card, it was the year we doubled down on discipline, clarity, and scale. We focused on the fundamentals, tightened execution, expanded strategically, and strengthened our position as the largest and most trusted digital-assets infrastructure provider across Africa and emerging markets.

From strategic partnerships to impactful global media coverage, awards, and major ecosystem events, Yellow Card was everywhere. And as our CEO and Co-Founder Chris Maurice says, “Our vision has always been bigger than borders. This year, we strengthened Africa, expanded into emerging markets, and built rails that will power digital money for decades.”

Justin Poiroux, CTO and Co-Founder speaks to the reason why Yellow Card always remained one step ahead of competitors. “Our competitive advantage has always been our world-class infrastructure that scales across continents. It’s the reason why some of the biggest names in the industry have partnered with us”.

From Africa to emerging markets, 2025 was the year Yellow Card sharpened its strategy, expanded its reach, and deepened its infrastructure. Here’s a look at the milestones that shaped our year.

Each metric represents deeper liquidity pools, stronger financial infrastructures, and more resilient, reliable access to digital dollars across the emerging markets and regions that need them most for economic growth and operational expansion.
